Lauren and Brian are former New Yorkers turned Caribbean sailors, living aboard their 42 foot ketch, with a grumpy Siamese cat and two pups adopted from the island St. Martin along their travels. They left in fall of 2015 and have adventured south through the sunny topics, taking wonderful photos and writing informational and insightful posts along the way. Follow them as they get to know their most recent home port, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Ok, we may be a little biased here because Coloradians Crystal and Rob from www.letitbreeze.com have been our best sailing buddies for the past year, but the honest truth is that they also have a badass blog! Crystal's posts are thoughtful and informative, especially about sailing with their two dogs on board, Jaela and Baxter. We often look to her posts for information about customs and veterinary requirements in countries we're planning to visit. To top it off, they're great sailors, and never say no to a rum drink. ;)

These guys make top-notch videos that remind us why we decided to become sailors in the first place. Their crew consists of three filmmakers and one "cat-sized dog" (their words, not mine) on an adventure to circumnavigate the world. Their youtube movies, although infrequent (probably because they take a while to produce their high standard of quality) are spectacularly inspirational, and the writing in the videos and on their blog, called Sea Change Log, brings tears to our eyes. Plus the dog is cute.

Nicolas and Lindsey are a couple of young French Canadians cruising the world in their gorgeous sailboat with a pup and kitty in tow. Now in Puerto Rico, they plan to circumnavigate and have just upgraded boats to support their journey ahead. Although much of their content is in French, they do an excellent job of posting in BOTH English and French. These guys really excel in the social media department with beautiful candid photos (it helps that they all four look like models!) and awesome travel/adventure videos. Plus, Nico has done a killer job creating and designing their website, himself! Their instagram, facebook, and youtube channel (@SailboatFurminger) are all worth a follow.

Warning - profanity ahead! These guys, NIck and Teresa are ex-Londoners, and are hilariously uncensored on their youtube channel, Sailing Yacht Ruby Rose. Be prepared for heavy UK/Aussie accents and lots of "shites" and "wankers" as they document their real-life travels around the world on their gorgeous Southerly 38 sailboat. Their channel is honest, funny, real, endearing, and gives a raw peek into the full-time cruisers' lifestyle. You'll feel like you've known these two for years and want to meet up for a drink!
