S/V WANDERLUST

Hi, I'm Ruca!

 

I'm a 7 year-old boxer pup who loves naps, morning snuggles, catching sticks and rocks, swimming, tusslin', and seriously slobbery kisses. I've recently developed a deep love for chasing coconuts into the ocean then tearing them to shreds, digging at the beach for sea shells, and barking at loud boats. 

 

Me and my family went on an epic sailing adventure aboard our sailboat Wanderlust.  Although until now, I had never been outside of Missouri, I absolutely loved experiencing all the new critters, sights and smells. I've visited dozens of exotic islands and new countries, and it turns out, I fit right in! #HalfFishHalfDog

 

I learned how to best be a sailing live-aboard pup and put my valuable skills to work on board. So far, I've earned the positions of Deck Hand, Visitor Alarm and Designated Coconut Hunter (Captain is in the works). 

 

To be honest, living aboard  was sometimes a little complicated for me, since I'm a 65 pound ball of energy, living in a 38 foot sailboat.  Keep reading >>here<< as I figured out how best to navigate the big, beautiful world aboard Wanderlust!
