10 of our FAVORITE moments and places from a whole year of traveling the Caribbean aboard our wonderful sailboat, Wanderlust. Enjoy!
10: Shroud Cay, Bahamas : An amazingly gorgeous, exotic marine park beach, totally to ourselves!
9. Mayaguana, Bahamas: The biggest lobster we've ever seen, caught, or eaten. We didnt have a pot big enough to cook her all at once! Lobster diving has become one of our favorite activities aboard.
8. Crooked Island, Bahamas : Electric clear blue Bahamian water and a deserted beach. We didn't see another person for weeks.
7. Punta Rucia, Dominican Republic: Dominos, cold Beers, and Quinn's Dad visiting aboard. Life was good.
6. Staniel Cay, Bahamas : Quinn, absolutely dying over the squeeling cuteness that was the Staniel Cay hangry beach piglets.
5. Marina Cay, British Virgin Islands: Pusser's restaurant cat, just enjoying a cold Presidente like any other island feline would.
4. Samaná, Dominican Republic: Enjoying a few days of rare luxury in a marina in the DR, before making the infamous 36 hour Mona Passage.
3. Bird Cay, berry islands, Bahamas: Ruca enjoying the chrystal clear water to herself, on this abandoned private island, searching for critters... basically how she would spend every single day if she could!
2. Luperón, Dominican Republic: Hiking and swimming the beautiful 27 waterfalls of Demajaguá, with friends Ian and Elissa.
1. St. John, US Virgin Islands: We rarely miss a sunset aboard Wanderlust. This was one for the record books, but just one of 365 life-changing days at sea. :)
